Architectural Nexus, a leader in sustainable green architecture, backed up its commitment to the environment and the Salt Lake City community with the addition of their new 4,000 square foot main entry lobby and remodel of existing 22,000 square foot space included structural upgrades for seismic force resistance, increased glazing to maximize day lighting, new aluminum cladding on the building exterior. A complete mechanical system upgrade was done and Therma-Fuser VAV diffusers were applied for HVAC energy efficiency and building sustainability.
The Nexus Design Center exceeds green standards with ratings that are rarely seen, including a LEED-NC v2009 Platinum certification rating and an almost perfect 97 Energy Star rating from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
