Plymouth State University

Langdon Woods at Plymouth State University is the first Residence Hall in New Hampshire to receive LEED Certification at the Gold Level. The building emphasizes state of the art strategies for sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.

Many energy efficient elements were incorporated into the design including automatic light sensors, strategic use of natural lighting, and a thermally-powered VAV system provided by Acutherm.

The Therma-Fuser™ VAV diffusers meet the set comfort requirement of each space automatically and eliminate over heating and over cooling.
